What audition days are available?

We haven't announced dates for Season 22 (2027) but they will be announced soon! Follow us on social media to find out when they are announced.

I registered for a Virtual Open Call. What happens next?

That's it! You're on the list, so practice, practice, practice! After you register, you will receive a confirmation email that contains your audition date. Check your junk filters if you don't receive this email within a few hours of signing up.

If you need to make any changes, sign in to your Performer Profile.

What time do the Virtual Open Calls begin and end?

Our doors are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Make sure you check the time difference for your location so you don’t miss your chance!

Is my arrival time my audition time?

Not quite! A week before your audition, we email you asking for an arrival time. This arrival time helps align our day with the producers. Your selected arrival time is for check-in, not your performance time. Performers are seen in the order they arrive.

How much time should I set aside for my audition?

It depends on how many performers join us that day. On average auditions are handled within an hour, but to play it safe, set aside two hours for your audition. Auditions are done on a first come first served basis and most of that time may be spent waiting, so give yourself some breathing room in your schedule.

I can’t make my scheduled audition. What should I do?

No problem! If there is another Virtual Open Call that you can attend, you can change your date through your Performer Profile. Alternatively, you can submit a Video Audition.

I am part of a group. How do we register?

One registration, the whole crew! Choose one group member to register and manage your group’s Performer Profile. All audition communication will go through that profile, and one virtual ticket covers everyone in your act.

Not all members of my group can attend. What should we do?

You can still show us the full act! Add a YouTube video of your complete group to your Performer Profile, and let the producers know at check-in which members couldn’t attend.

How long will my audition last?

You’ll have up to 90 seconds, so start strong! Show us the most exciting part of your act without a long introduction.

Producers may adjust the audition length if needed.

Can I audition more than once?

Each act gets one Virtual Audition, but you’re welcome to also submit a Video Audition. Both are opportunities to show us your talent!

Can I audition as both a solo act and part of a group?

Absolutely! If you have a solo act and a group act, we’d love to see both. Just register each act separately using a different email address.

What are the eligibility requirements?

I am not a U.S. citizen. Can I still audition?

Yes. U.S. citizenship is not required. However, you do need to meet all eligibility requirements, including the applicable U.S. legal presence and immigration status requirements. Check our Eligibility Requirements before registering.

I am under 18 or have minors in my group. What do we need to prepare?

Minors must have parental permission and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Required documents include:

• A photo ID (school ID or birth certificate)

• A completed Personal Release Form signed by a parent or guardian

If the parent or guardian cannot attend, you must bring:

• A notarized Guardianship and Medical Authorization for Minors form

• A signed Personal Release Form by the third-party chaperone

I am a singer. How can I play my music?

Warm up those vocal cords! Singers are asked to audition a cappella, so backing tracks aren’t recommended.

Prepare a verse and chorus that show off your voice, and have another selection ready in case producers ask for more.

But I sing and play an instrument. Do I have to sing a cappella?

If you play an instrument and sing, you are welcome to accompany yourself.

Will I find out during my audition if I’m moving on?

You won’t get a decision during your audition. Only performers selected for the next round will be contacted, so keep an eye on your inbox.
