THE BENEFITS OF AGT
Season 17 winner, The Mayyas performed with Beyoncé in her comeback concert. Coldplay invited Season 18 finalist, Mzansi Youth Choir to perform on their tour. Drake Milligan, Chapel Hart, and Mitch Rossell all performed original music on AGT and their songs charted #1 on iTunes the next day. Other singers have seen their originals chart after their performance as well. Drake also went on to be nominated for Male Breakthrough Video Of The Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards for “Sounds Like Something I’d Do”.
Season 13 winner, Shin Lim headlined on Broadway with The Illusionists show and now has a residency at The Venetian Las Vegas. Our Season 2 winner, Terry Fator is one of the most successful performers in Las Vegas history. Mat Franco, Colin Cloud, and Piff The Magic Dragon have their own shows on the Vegas strip.
Darci Lynn had multiple sold-out nationwide tours since winning AGT, as well as a television special on NBC. Lindsey Stirling has been touring since her time on the show, and won a Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Album 2015 (Shatter Me) and 2017 (Brave Enough), among many others. She was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
Season 11 winner Grace Vanderwaal had the highest-selling EP of 2016 (Perfectly Imperfect) and won the Rising Star Award at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. She also had a sold-out nationwide tour and opened for both Imagine Dragons and Florence & The Machine.
Season 12 finalist, comedian, Preacher Lawson starred in Mr. Mayor on NBC. Contortionist, Troy James turned his opportunity into a career in film and television including roles in Hellboy, Chucky, The Flash, and What We Do In The Shadows. Season 15 runners-up, DYC has a docuseries Choir on Disney+.

Online views of performances on the show have received over 36 BILLION views. Last year’s social views alone hit nearly 3.8 BILLION views.
Every performance from Season 19 had at least 1 million views, with the most viewed audition at more than 424 million.
AGT has had multiple performances exceed 300 million views on their audition performance alone. Even reaching as many as over 500 million views.
